    I'm hoping when they get their allocation tomorrow, with something that fits my wants. I'm flexible to a point with the exterior, but I want a dark gray interior.

    I'm with you on that. I sat in a Bisque one today. Actually I was playing with my IPod Touch that I got the Bluetooth upgrade on yesterday to make sure it would play my music without any wires. It worked! Yeah! But the Bisque really is just too light for me. As much as I love tan interiors, I made the right choice for me.

    Good luck on the allocation. I hope we get some more with the SR here too. They seem to be pretty popular. If it doesn't work out, come see us in VA!!

    So they gave you a printout of a car that they didn't have in their allocation? That's a pretty iffy proposition. I guess the other dealer realized they can get all the Prius II's they want. Can't really blame them, but someone should have told you.

    Well in addition to you putting in a "preference" with the dealer, I believe the dealer can put a preference (called Priority?) order with the region. That way even the small dealer will get a proportionate choice out of an allotment from a ship if there is a match. The big dealers get a lot of cars and a lot of choices, but all their orders shouldn't be placed before small dealers get their proportionate share.

    Did yours ever reach F status? If not did you have port installed options? I'm assuming that trucks on the road won't take the 4th off so I'm still hopeful they will drop mine off tomorrow or Saturday

    Nope! Still in the dreaded A status. Only thing I added was CF (floormats). Does it really take that much effort to throw a prepackaged set of mats in?!

    I don't think the trucks will be running tomorrow since the port is closed. At least that is what my GM told me today when I told him my Prius got kicked back 2 days. Uggh!

    I assume that if I had F status on Monday that the trucks are already loaded and on route. If so I can't imagine them taking the day off when they are away from home. I don't know but I assume they don't move cars from truck to truck and that the truck it's loaded on at port will be the truck that delivers it? It's taken 6 to 7 days for the first shipments to my dealer after port unloading. That's why I was surprised when they said ETA 7/13. Then it got changed Monday to 7/6. Thus I'm still hopeful since they have been coming early.

    I just can't figure out why yours has not at least been assigned F status by now. Have you tracked other shipments to your dealership from previous ships?

    We have a boatload (pun may or may not be intended) of cars coming to us that are in F status. The last time I checked yesterday, we didn't get any cars in.

    But, yes, once the trucks are loaded up, they stay with the same driver and do not change inventory once they hit the road. That being said, there very well could be deliveries today since the trucks would have already left the port. From what I gathered yesterday, just the port people won't be there today. I will try and get more info.

    I have no idea why it's taking so long for mine and the other Prius from the New Century 1 to flip. Maybe there is a backlog of inventory since there were a few ships that came in back to back. I REALLY need my car for vacation starting the 11th!!!!! Not going anywhere, but it will give me a chance to drive places!

    We're "struggling" through the holiday weekend with one vehicle since the wife wrecked the HH. Hard to get used to 1 when you've always had 2. Oh well, Monday will be here soon (when it's due)

    OK, it's Monday, a new week. Time for updates! My car is due in to the dealer today. We'll see if it makes it. The rest of you should be getting some updates on F status.

    Funny, last week it was listed as "F" status due on the 6th. It is now listed a "G" (on the ground) but the date has moved back to 7_08 (two days from now). Kip says it can be here anytime, hopefully today. Obviously their update status are not reported by the truck drivers.

    Has anybody else gotten G status or delivery for a car on New Century 1? As of friday, my dealer said mine had still not gotten G and I don't want to keep bugging him every day (He said he'd let me know when it changed). Seems like a long time since June 25 though!

    Hi Mix - :welcome: My car was on NC1 and the dealer has had it since July 1 or 2. (I'm picking it up this weekend!) You should be seeing it soon!

    A: Allocated (promised to the dealer in their allocation)
    F: In Freight (on route)
    G: Ground (supposedly on the ground at the dealer... but there is some lag time on the posting and the occurance)

    They can tell you this status and they can also tell you the ship delivering it so that you can track progress up to the port.

    Thanks for the legend now a little 101 for me (I ordered a car last week 6/30). How do I snoop for the below information?? Do I have to contact the dealer or can I find other ways? Thanks again.
