I guess the folks at Weathertech don't talk internally to each other. I spoke with them a couple of weeks ago and they told me it would be at least 6 months before they had any 2010 accessories available, but I found out yesterday they have the 2010 cargo mat ready for sale.

You can, of course, purchase it through the PriusChat Shop and help support the community:

PriusChat Shop : 2010 Toyota Prius WeatherTech Cargo Liner Mat [40400] - $109.99

Weathertech's site also has the front/rear Extreme floorliners listed for the 2010, but they are using the same model number as the 2G liners so they are just using the same mats in the 2010 as they used in the 2004-2009. I do not approve of this move and do not plan on selling them because I actually tested the set I had in my 2006 in my 2010 and the fit was "OK", but it wasn't all that good. It looks like Weathertech is being lazy.

They also have the window deflectors listed as working with the 2010, but they are also the same model numbers as the 2G and I'm about 99.9% sure that there is no way they would fit in the 2010.

Buyer beware if you see these on other accessory sites - the operators of those sites obviously aren't doing their homework.

But the cargo liner is up in the PriusChat Shop and I would encourage anyone who wants a heavy-duty liner with big lips on the sides to check it out!

I stopped into the WeatherTech showroom a couple weeks ago inquiring about '10 Prius accessories, and was told nothing was yet available.

I called them today after reading the above post last night. Cargo liners are indeed available now. At their website, selecting 2010 Toyota Prius doesn't yet produce results for either floor mat model (Digital or All Weather). Clear the WeatherTech cookies first, as sometimes your model selection will produce results in error.

They told me the designs for 2010 are fully in the works and molds are being manufactured. SKU's for 2009 aren't the same - hence the new designs. September is the target for availability.

These are great cargo mats. I currently have one in my IS350 and it's very durable and easy to clean. Will definitely be purchasing if/when I get my Prius.

    Thanks Danny,
I tried the deflectors from my 08 and I could physically get them installed but they had the wrong curve to them and gapped at one point. They definitely don't fit.

You might add the note that ALL of the 2010 Prius rear cargo areas are the same color regardless of interior. They are ALL a light grey color. Of course the black rear mat would add to the hodge podge color scheme!

The light gray would match well. The black would enhance solar gain through the rear hatch but match the floor mats color in all interiors. The tan would match nothing in the cargo area.

Does anyone know if the WeatherTech cargo Mat is flexible enough or hinged somehow to make access to the "under floor" storage and cubby storage on the left side, easily accessible? Same question for the Toyota all weather cargo mat...

The Toyota cargo mat is in two pieces. Each piece has a groove to allow it to hook together and is hinged so to speak. It works well, I ordered the OEM all weather mats and cargo mat from Priuschat.com and am very pleased with them.

I'm glad someone finally mentioned the "one size fits all" color in the rear cargo area,I got the dark gray seats to hide the inevitable spots, and there is no way you can actually use the cargo area without trashing it a little bit.I may try to line the fuzzy stuff with some dark gray aftermarket carpet to at least slow down the wear and tear.

A cargo mat would work fine for your problem. Does anyone own a Weathertech yet? I ordered one with my vehicle and they didn't have any in stock. I was told I would be waiting 4-6 weeks and ended up purchasing the OEM cargo mat. I am happy with the OEM mat, but the Weathertech looks a lot easier to clean.

Yeah, I'm glad I waited till we actually got our Prius to order that cargo mat. I wasn't really impressed that the cargo area is in fact gray. And that "bisque" color is more like a dirty light gray than a tan. Oh well. Really if that's all I have to gripe about, that's not too bad. ;)

I've ordered the Weathertech cargo mat and am VERY impatiently waiting on the floor mats to come out. The temporary cheap Walmart ones are not impressive at all.

Just got the grey Weathertech Cargo mat in from the PriusShop and it fits great. It does not have the molded in hinges that the stock mat does, so getting into the below storage areas requires pulling back a section of the rubber mat. That really isn't a big issue. The mat feels kind of like a cross between rubber and the plastic that milk cartons are made from. Not rubber and not plastic. Looks very durable and easy to clean.

The color is a little darker then I had anticipated but will work. Overall, I very pleased and it's just what I was looking for to protect the cargo area. Picture attached.

Thanks for the pic. It looks great. I would have preferred that to the OEM, but I couldn't wait. Definitely looks easier to clean than the one I have...

Ditto! Got mine today too and had the same impression. It fits very nicely.

Now where are the freaking floor mats?! :p

I think I better wait a little to see if I can find a full length one, in grey, that has the split seat AND has the folding hinge in the back so can get to the storage area under the floor. I want it all!

    Hi:

Was wondering what you mean by 'does not have the molded in hinges that the stock mat does'? I am planning on getting either the one from PriusChat and have it sent to Canada or get the OEM from the local Toyota Dealer. I have already spoken to the dealer about getting me one but was trying to figure out which one is the better value.

    Would appreciate your thoughts.....

The Toyota mat is really two pieces, and it splits along the seam of the cargo floor door. It's grooved, so when the two pieces are laid together they look like one, but you can flip the door up and the mats act like they are hinged along that door seam.

So if it's two pieces, does that mean if something spilled back there, it'd be able to leak through the seam between the pieces?

I have one on order and might receive the OEM mat today and I'll report back on the seam/hinge and if it would contain a spill as that was a question I had. Another poster had one and said they thought it would contain a spill.
