MP3/WMA DVDs?

    Can the DVD player in a G3 Prius handle Data DVDs with MP3 and WMA files?

    'Fraid the DVD player is dedicated to the GPS. You can't use that drive for anything other than the nav unit.

    The CD player can't handle DVD discs. But remember that an MP3 CD holds roughly ten times the content as a regular CD so you can actually carry the equivalent of 40 CDs in 4 MP3 CDs.

    UK Prius with HDD SatNav can take MP3 files on a DVD. We aren't bothering ripping CDs at all.
