So I just thought that I would introduce with my first post here on PC with telling that today I got my black 2008 prius. It has about 18k km (11k miles).

Today I have driven it just for fun and I hav done about 110 km / 70 miles during the day. Consuption 5,1 l/100km or about 46 MPG.

I have some things I will have to fix from which, thanks to PC, I think I know the answer to.

    1. When I lock the car with the button on the door handle it sounds 1 beep. I will change the FOB battery tomorrow.

    2. When I unlock the doors with SKS system, touching the inside of the door habdle, it give me 2 beeps?!? I have tried to look for this but didn´t find anything, so input will be appriciated.

    3. The very annoying continues beeping when in revers I couldn´t swich of by the instructions here on PC. Is it me who don´t get it and have to try some more or coul someone confirm that I will NOT be able to swich this of in a European / Scandinavian Prius?

    4. Same as nr 3 only seatbelt warning sound while driving...

    5. In between the two buttons for seat heating is a little round button that lights up when driving slow. (Under about 5 km/h or 3 MPH). I can also press this button to make it go off. But what is it?

Sorry for questions but after reading some here on PC for the last months I havn´t seen anything about this, except for question 1 and 3... (But I did really got so into the reading for this months that I got myself a hybrid... :))

? But that is normal. If the red LED on the fob does not flash when you push any fob button, then the fob battery is near death.
