So is the only way to get the illuminated ones (in GST area) is through the actual dealership?
Is it available in other regions through port options?

Someone over at Toyota should update the webpage with that information. It's very misleading.

GST is doing aftermarket stuff that has nothing to do with Toyota. These are the same people that put a black bumper protector on my car, rather than the Prius specific applique. I elected to keep it, but I think it was a deceptive trade practice. On the other hand, most of what they do is put on before the car even has a customer, so it depends on the particular facts. I say if you ordered the Prius specific illuminated door sills and they substituted something else, they are obligated to take back the substituted part and give you a refund. Of course, it all gets a bit hazy after you've already accepted the car. Their practices depend on customers being willing to overlook these relatively small things, like I did, because it just seems like more trouble than it's worth to complain.

 

I got a Blizzard Pearl Prius III, misty gray interior. Only options are floor mats, 40% ceramic tint on all 9 windows, and remote engine start. I took delivery on 7/28/09 from Beaver Toyota, Santa Fe (please contact me if you would like a referral with this dealer and I think I can get you a better price -- I got ~$400 off MSRP). I waited two months for my car after placing the order. My most desired accessory at this point is FOG LIGHTS!! Would appreciate any help in this regard (dealer says they can't do it, but I think they are giving up too easily).

 

Your Prius is really cool. I'm still waiting on mine. It's been about 2 months now. Doesn't that seem long to you? Mine is Classic Silver Metalic. IV with solar Roof and Nav Package... Love those piocs.

hi everybody this morning i visited a toyota dealer nearby to hold plce an order on a black 2010 prius II i should be taking delivery in exactly one week

 

OK, I guess it's time to share...my Prius II, Barcelona Red w/ Dark Gray interior. No frills – just floor mats and wheel locks. Getting around 53-54 mpg in mostly short city driving over the first 1,400 miles.



Plenty of room back here!

I have found it surprising just how much junk we could stow in the rear with the seats down -- on one trip, two 65 lb. dogs, a cooler, two weekend bags, two bags of gifts, a bag of board games, water bowl, and a small window fan. So far, I have had no reason to miss my 15 mpg SUV!

 

They look right at home! Nice pictures -- car looks great.

 

Here's my 24 hour old Prius IV, classic silver with the dark gray leather interior... The car was cleaned up and finished with Zaino Pro2... in my opinion the best car polish available... the reflection is to die for.

 

Looks great! I used Zaino on my silver 2006 and never got it looking like that.
