Most of the dealers in the area are not straying from the MSRP price - so I'm now wondering if it matters which dealer to order from. Will the size of the dealership determine how fast I would get my 2010 Prius II (Blue)? I have the wide range of dealers to choose from: the largest one in the area, a medium size dealer, or one that is more rural?

I'm 6 month pregnant and need it prior to baby's arrival (I know, the expected delivery dates will be hard to guess for both Prius and baby).

I don't know the answer and it may even depend on which region you are in. I was quoted the same approximate delivery time by a small dealer near where I live and a couple of larger ones. I chose the smaller one because I wanted to support the local community and because they use absolutely no high pressure tactics. All of the ones I ask said it would take about 2 months to get the car.

I ordered the car on 26 June and was told Friday my delivery date would be 25 Aug, right on to the day. Now if it just gets here on time. :) Of course I'm only expecting a car!

EDIT: You may already know this but just in case. Most dealers will try to sell you an extended warranty, just say no. You have 3 years or 36,000 miles to decide if you want one or not, no mater what they say. If you do decide to buy one later you can get the Toyota Platinum extended warranty through this site for $1055, and that's most likely a lot less than the dealer wants for it. Maintenance contracts, also pushed by dealers, are usually not such a good buy either. Best thing to do, just buy the car and say no to everything else.
