Have you guys seen this? I am well aware of JDM (Japanese domestic market) factory accessaries not available in US being sold by Sigma autos.

While browsing internet, I came across a site, an european version of Toyota Techinfo web site.

    Toyota Service Information

Unlike US version, you are free to download Accessary Installation Manuals (aka AIM) in pdf format. I searched for 2010 Prius (W30) and found Toyota have kits for all kinds of cool stuff. There is even a complete kit to install JBL speakers and amp on cars with base audio system. Speakers, wires all included in a kit.

I see mudflap kits, In-dash navigation retrofit kit (face plate could be useful for those of you looking to retrofit 3rd party 2DIN in-dash nav unit), Seat heater, ski holder, parking aid (bumper parking sensors, ECU, buzzer, dash switch wiring etc) and even a Kayak holder!
I even see a chrome ring to add onto the foglamps.

Why isn't Toyota selling these stuff in US???
What will be the best way to obtain some of these kits? I am interested in parking sensor kits mainly. Any UK owners out there who could shed some lights on this like price and color pictures.

All very cool, but aren't those accessories showing for 04-09 models?

I went through the registration process, then accessed that website, but had no luck getting to any of the free files. I used "w30" in the search box, and got 4 different articles - but they didn't appear to be for the new Prius. Then I tried "Prius" - again without success.

Thanks! I was able to get in and view the install for the mud flaps. They were for the 2010 according to the picture of the car in the document. Now just need to find out where to order them!

p.s. I was only able to get this site to work completely in Firefox.

I did a search for the rear bumper protector using the part number shown in the attachment and I found this site showing installation manuals for a lot of various accessories.

Does seem to show a 2010 in the picture, but specifically lists the model year on the front page as 2009. What gives?

In other market, 3rd generation was introduced as 2009 model year, sort of 2009 1/2 model year. In UK, 2009 Prius 1.5l is refered as 2nd generation, 2009 Prius 1.8l is refered as 3rd generation.

Ah, that explains it. Thank you. So does that mean someone with friends in the UK can order these accessories (like especially the mudflaps) and have them shipped over?

In 2002 I got a MB-C230 and the mud-flaps were ONLY available in the UK. So I ordered them from a dealer web site and they arrived two weeks later. I would imagine it would be similar for the Prius. Just find a UK Toyota dealer and email them asking if they will ship.

That's pretty cool, but the USB instructions are not for the USB part you get in the US. Other items may be different also.

BTW, does anyone know what a DAB tuner is?
