What tires did you get on your 2010?

Why did you replace them so soon. Although I have never owned them I had always heard Yokohamas were pretty good?

Mainly cause I work for Goodyear and I could get 80K tires for 20 bucks a piece on a new trade.

OK thanks, sounds like a good reason to switch to Goodyear. :)

Our Barcelona Red Prius IV came with Yokahama Avid S33s. Those were replaced as soon as we got home with Michelin Pilot Sport A/S Plus 215/45-17 on Enkei RS-M wheels (see below) from the Tire Rack. It is a shame Toyota doesn't offer decent wheels and tires with each option level. The third generation Prius is a good looking car when you get some nice wheel and tires on it.

The new tires are MUCH better handling (the car doesn't jiggle like a bowl of Jello), there is no rubbing, the ride might be a little stiffer, and there is no difference in road noise. :)

I want to sell the original wheels, wheel covers, and tires. Does anyone know how much I can get for them? There are only 40 miles on the tires and they still have the original TPMS.

The base wheels aren't horrible, but I think they would look really sharp if just 1" larger (16").

I agree... the larger wheels look nice... I"m just not willing to take the mpg hit for it.. but to some its more important.

I've noticed if the tires are wetted down nice with some tire product or similiar, it seems to make them look bigger too.

Technically, yes. For most of us on PC, no lol. I'll be pumping mine up (it's 35/33 right?)

You want the "base" without the -CA part. CA = Canada in this case.
