Here is one of my new 17-inch wheels for my 2010 Prius. Should have them mounted by next weekend. Will take a photo and share with you.
    Thanks!

    Looks great. Congrats.

When you post pictures of them mounted it would be great if you were to also post info on the wheels (model, weight) and tires (model, size, weight).

AWESOME choice!! I think the multi spoke wheels look the best on a 2010 Prius. (6+ spokes)

They are Enkei RS05 wheels weighing 17.5 pounds. I am awaiting arrival of Michelin Pilot Sport A/S Plus tires in 215/45/17. The tires weigh 22 pounds.

Those wheel look great! Be careful about the weight of the tires you select though. Some of the 17" tires can get very heavy, but there are quite a few in the 22-24 lb range. Some were 26+ lbs (bad in terms on inertia and fuel economy).

We had new 17" Enkei RS-M wheels & Michelin Pilot Sport Plus 215/45-17 tires (see below) waiting for our Prius IV to arrive because you can't get 17" on anything except the V. As soon as we got it in the garage, those 15" rims were gone! Why doesn't Toyota understand that some of us really want nice looking wheels and tires - even on an economy car? It should be an option for EVERY level of Prius, not just the V.

AF Vette: How do you like the Michelin Pilot tires? How much did they cost? Did the road noise increase or stay about the same?

Me too, I'm going to put new wheels on my car which is still on order. But regarding difference in steering wheel ratio (3.5 turns on 15'' models vs 2.8 turns on 17'' models) and wheel gauge (narrower on 17'' models), is this something to be concerned with or can it be dealt with?

Should not be an issue but I am unclear as to what you mean by wheel gauge.

I was referring to the distance between the front wheels.

Looks good, what did you do about the TPMS sensors?

I bought new ones but have not yet had them programmed by the dealer. I may wait until my first oil change.

Those look great! (I've seen many new wheels on PC and frankly they look terrible. However I hold my comments as no one really wants to hear how bad their $1K investment looks)

So, if your TPMS are not programmed what do you have to put up with? Just a light? I'm thinking of mounting snow tires on spare rims w/o any monitors and wondered how irritating it might be.
