Proof that Prius drivers can match anyone when it comes to being brain dead:

It might have thinned out the defective chromosomes, but it would have really wasted a nice car.

I'm not sure if this video was staged or not, but I have seen A LOT of stupid Prius drivers on the roads, just like any other vehicle. With any vehicle that has sold millions, there are going to be some stupid people that drive them. Just last week, I was accelerating slowly in the right lane, being tailgated by a Prius, the driver "floors" it and goes around me and cuts me off and keeps accelerating (no brake lights from them, thank God). As I am slowly accelerating, I notice the Prius driver has become stuck behind cars up ahead, and I soon catch up. The road diverges and the other cars go to the left, while the Prius and I go to the right. Oddly as heck, the Prius driver takes the outside lane on the freeway clover that goes to the right. Without trying to, with my car being in the inside lane, I slowly pass the Prius. As the curve ends and the road straightens out, sure enough, the Prius driver is on my bumper again. Same thing happens again... the Prius shoots around me when there is clearly thick traffic ahead, and then the Prius is blocked by traffic and I'm soon driving side-by-side them again.

I tried to play the video, but all I got was this message:

"This video has been removed due to terms of use violation."

That video's been floating around for a long time and the general assumption is that it was faked. Nobody's come up with any news reports/stories, no reliable source, nada.

Perhaps Obama could launch a new program where people trade in SUVs for small cars, the SUVs are parked on a train track with a retired locomotive plowing through them in a safe location (where locomotive crash tests are carried out), and the program could be called "Crash the Clunkers" :D

It looks like SUV drivers win the stupid award:

I wonder if that was done in electric mode.

Not faked. Happens all the time. I've seen programs commenting on how people take their lives in their hands at rail crossings' with video. This was Europe. If that train had hit the car not only would the driver have been killed, but probably many on the train as well. It was a "high speed" train. But not the "Grande Vitese" in France. No crossings on that one, just overpasses (because the engineers knew people are stupid and would pull that). This one was probably "only" 200 km/hr.

I still wonder how we have managed to "cover the earth". We're so stupid!!
