So I've been reading through threads for a few hours and am still stumped. I currently have XM but they are raising prices so I'm done with them. I want to install HD radio but I want integration so I can use the MFD to control it. I also want to retain the CD player functionality so it will have to connect to the SAT port on the head.

DICE seems to be the most popular but after looking at their site, I can't determine which device I need. Can anyone lend assistance to that end? I've seen a couple of other devices but can't get straight answers as to what components I need to make work properly.

If there are great devices that don't integrate with the MFD, I suppose I'd look at those too as cost is a factor. All recommendations appreciated!

    Thanks!

Have you already ruled out using the new Zune and the 3.5mm audio in? It would also give you a portable HD device for when your not in the car.

Interesting Idea and no I had not looked at it. Price is a bit steep for what I'm looking for but the additional features would be cool.

I have a Zune HD and like it a lot, but I can't say that the HD radio reception has been stellar inside the car. It doesn't stay on the HD signal and drops back to the analog signal fairly frequently.

Thanks. It seems that HD coverage does not extend to where I live (northwest Indiana). My Boss and I have been trying a couple different receivers and can't get consistent reception until about Rt 30 and the IL state line. Not bad if I lived in Chicago though.
