If there was a new color added, what would you want it to be?

I said this before in a post a long time ago. They should do what Scion does, periodic limited editions called "release series" that are an unusual color. The may also include a different combination of cosmetic or performance features than usually available.

That way they can try really odd stuff and not have to sell a huge number.

Their current release series color: electric wasabi, a greenish color

i like the thought of another bright, deep color. the toyota prius metallic colors seem to fade over time...
my vote is burgundy/wine as others mentioned.

+1 on the special color... But then I got to thinking, why even paint it a color? Why not just make it an aluminum body and polish it to a shine like some of those Audi show cars from the mid 1990's? Or maybe give it that machined aluminum look...

Yep, like the Audi Avus concept. Or Stainless like everyone's favorite time machine.

Actually, I would like to see more cars come with a satin finish rather than high gloss. I realize that this would be impractical on the highest level, but boy, to not have the sun reflecting off of traffic, right into my eyes... that would be sweet :)

You can easily get a non-gloss clear over-laminate for your car:

Good luck on trying to convince the majority of other drivers to do
    likewise.

As to a new color, I'd like to see an eye-popping, in-your-face, non-
    metalic red...
    like Porsche Guards Red:

    (Sorry! I can't find a net-pix that does justice to the slap-upside-the-head
    redness of this color.)

As about a third of those here have already stated: GREEN. I would prefer something light green, perhaps metallic, but could go for forest or hunter green or teal. My wife liked the very pale green of the G2, I would have liked something with a bit more green in it... I would like a deeper shade of red in a metallic or pearlescent. And obviously I liked the lighter blue in the G2.

Can't say that I'm a big fan of any of the current generation Prius color choices. Not that they are bad, they just have more of a "fleet" look than I like. What's really missing is color. Presently there is only a deep blue and generic red if one wants actual color. Black, white, gray, silver, beige are not really colors (although the sandy beige is close enough that I might allow it.)

That new burnt orange that I've seen around a lot lately. NOT.

    +1 for British Racing Green.

With all posts agonizing over whether or not this is a 'chick car' I'm amazed at all the men who want pastel colors - even lavendar! :p You're awesome!
