As someone else has stated, there is no "schedule" for gasoline prices. If there is no reason to consider a 2010 Prius, then why does it show that you have a 2010 Prius?

I would rather take my chances with the Prius. I could buy a dodge with NO gas savings from Day 1 and multiple repairs needed when the warranty expires that erase my bank account, not just gas savings that were never there in the first place.

2 vehicles before the Prius, I had a full size Chevy van that was in the shop at least 20 times during the warranty period and got around 14 mpg hwy, 12 city (8.1 L - 496 ci). I got rid of it when the warranty expired and luckily before gas prices doubled.

The next vehicle was a Camry with exactly ZERO trips back to the dealer for repairs in 3 years. So far the Prius has had ZERO trips as well. Sure, every vehicle brand has horror stories with individual vehicles, but I hear way more with certain makes.

And this talk of gas prices going down....UP 30 cents around here in the last month. When Iran rolls out their nuclear weapon, I look for traders to double the price.

The time for energy independence is now, which starts with me. I use 1/2 the fuel vs. the Camry and 1/4 the fuel vs. the Chevy van. Lobby for domestic drilling and nuclear plants.

Thank God we can make our choices...without someone telling us not to... I love my Prius and am glad I got it....

Gas prices well, they have been on the rise here as well...
    $2.87 -$2.89 a gallon this week, up almost 10 Cents in a week...:mod:
