Undamaged display surface

Fingerprints & smudges, but no damage to explain "slashes" and dark "streaks" on lit display.

      I have the same problem , I used my nail on screen , now I have a brown streak which isn't even a scratch , my friend said it's probably the screen protector is scratched therefore if I remove it my original lcd screen will look new and unscratched but I can't tell if the the screen protector is on or not
