I can't tell you how much i love these door handles. I went to velds.com and see the exterior 1" strips you were talking about. Should I order any of the adapters? Or how about extension cables? How much cable did you end up using for all 4 doors?

Thanks =) I didn't use the adapters I just spliced/soldered the wires together with male/female connections so that I could unplug them if I ever take the door panels off . I bought 100' of 20 gauge wire from ebay for like $12 shipped. I have a ton left over, but it's better to have too much than not enough!

I got them from vleds.com, but I think I've seen them on eBay. They are 1" strip LEDs.
