Haha thanks. I can't say I'm expert at this yet, still have room to get better. This trip was the "ideal situation commute" for me. What I've come to find out is that it hugely depend on the time of day, weather, traffic condition, ratio of highway / local, ratio of up hill and down hill, etc. During my morning commute I could coast a lot more because of the slight downhill on my highway run, which is when I switched to HV mode. If I can time the correct position to switch back to EV so by the time I arrive at my office I am mostly out, then I'll be able to max out the MPG.

My afternoon commute is a lot worst though, the downhill / uphill ratio flipped, and I have a lot more stop and go traffic, even if I turn off the AC I still run out about a mile before I get home. If I don't run into traffic I could do the same, but even then I can only manage about 127MPG. yesterday only yielded 96MPG. Keep working at it I picked up this car last week with tank not full (1 bar missing), done 350 miles and I still have half a tank left. Loving it.
