I had this happen to me. Quite shocking.....and also on my air intake filter on the engine. I did remedy this by placing a nylon ped or sock(my wife's missing one ) over the air intake. It was held securely in place with a large rubber band . The kind you get on fresh Lobster in the super market. We have some cotton seeds that float around in the fall. I looks like cotton. It gets so bad it is like a snow storm in fall.
