    Note: EXIF data is stored on valid file types when a photo is uploaded. The photo may have been manipulated since upload (rotated, flipped, cropped etc).

    • The brown wire feeding the PS is connected to the narrow prong(ACL) of the 120VAC plug.
    • The switch disconnects the high voltage DC positive wire between the power supply(PS) and the Prius HV battery.
    • The volt meter is connected on HV battery side of the switch so voltage can still be read when the switch is "off".
    • On the PS side of the switch there is an added circuit to protect the PS in case the AC feed is disrupted while the switch is on, causing back-feed from the Prius HV battery that could damage the PS. This circuit consists of a 100k resistor between the red(+) and black(-) wires of the PS, followed by a 1N4007 diode |>| which is connected to the switch. The black band on the diode is on the switch side. Here is a schematic that includes this circuit.
    • All connections(mentioned above) that are unseen in the picture are inside the electrical box where the switch is mounted.
