Tesla full chassis view . The new DENSO a/c compressor is already for the new refrigerant R1234yf, now lets see how long it take body shops to burn them up after they improperly service and recharge the a/c after a front end accident. One of the big problems with the new refrigerant R1234yf is that after the lines are left open to the atmosphere and saturate the refrigerant oil with moisture, then the shop recharges the a/c with R1234yf it produces more acid that attacks the metal parts from inside and brake down the refrigerant oil faster! On top of that many repair shops only buy universal refrigerant oil of a lower quality and beaks down even faster $$$. If I thought the Prius electric compressor burn up fast after they get improper a/c service, I just can't wait to see what happens after the new R1234yf refrigerant gets introduced. Not to mention all the new refrigerant oils being manufacturer for specific model electric compressors. But of course some chemical re seller will pawn off some universal refrigerant oil that will work for awhile, or reduce cooling, There is nothing wrong with the new A/C systems , the refrigerant, the oils s s s, it;s who's selling the parts, repairing the cars and the owners of some of the shops that give us all a bad name in the automotive industry.
