If you own a 1st gen with a old fashion magnetic clutch and pulley on your a/c compressor then you need Denso ND-8 compressor oil. WARNING !!! this oil is for non -electric compressors only!!!... This is PAG oil it will eat away at the electric insulation in the motor. Some times is takes weeks some times over a year it depends on how much and working conditions. On most shorts on the electric compressors PAG oil is what I find mixed in with the Denso ND-11 that the last shop before serviced the air conditioning. Remember many shop owners are cheap and lazy only want the quick and fast so the ask a ''sales person, the parts counter person or skimmed quickly through some reading literature'' it's sad but truth hurts our automotive industry need a ENEMA!!! to to purge the S*** OUT!.
