This 2005 Prius customer was told that they need a compressor. When looking it over seen nothing with me eyes that would indicate and easy to find leak. Attached my refrigerant identifier it said no refrigerant, hooked up my gauges 0 PSI, add a little refrigerant BINGO big hissing leak were a rock hit between two tubes. It looked like nothing to the eye, even up close just a little fin damage. Hooked up the scantech light version to pull codes only got B1421 ignore this one solar sensor i'm in the dark shop. B1429 low refrigerant , YES it's out. Next step to replace the condenser with a Toyota factory OE one.
