? how is that shark fin antenna i just got mine but i have not put it on yet

Mine works fine but I live between LA and San Diego where there are alot of radio stations. I understand that if you live in a rural area, you loose some signal pickup (mostly AM) during the day. Just remember to clean your paint well and do your mearsuring before removing the adhesive tape. I used painter's tape to square up the location of the antenna.

does the old antennae just screw off and the new one go on with tape?
