Been wanting to see Gen II Magnetic Gray and Gen III Winter Gray head to head. Would also like to see them bumper to bumper or side by side so they'd be in the same light.

Awesome photo! This photo has presence and power. It is the passing of the torch from one generation to the next. From the Parent to the Offspring. In all the glory and power and awesomeness of the GenII Prius, being the best of the best ... a newer better incarnation of itself comes driving up the road. The GenII admires it's own, it's offspring, in all it's glory. Both bask in their own glory, top of their own respective classes. It is the passing of the torch from one Champion to the next.

Great picture! Is the Winter Grey slightly bluer than the Magnetic Grey in real life, or does it just look that way in the picture?

Love it!!! If you parked these on your driveway...you would stop traffic! ;-)

The Winter Grey is definitely more bluer than the Mag Grey. I'll try to get some more shots of the two befor I part with my 2006 on Monday.

That'll explain the colour code. Magnetic Grey had a first digit of 1 (silver). Winter Grey's first digit is 8 (blue).

Maybe it's the just the lens of the camera but it's funny that the 2010 seems just a tiny bit smaller than the '06 when in fact, it's the other way around.
    • Tideland Prius
It might be because the hood on the '06 curves up near the fenders. On the '10, it looks flatter, giving the impression that the front is narrower.
