They cost money and the good ones cost more. The old York, Frigidaire, Tecumseh from the 50's 60's 70's on big slow revving V8 most of their life was 1200 RPM to 2800 RPMs, 4000 to 5000 for a vary short time when you pushed it and the compressors was a 36LB IRON heat sink with a bearing the size of the palm of a mans hand!!!. OH YES they had 6oz oil sump with oil pump cross drilled crank shaft self lubricating ( did not rely on the refrigerant charge to return the oil back to the compressor to stay alive!!.) YOU HAD TO BE A F&$@!*g DUMB S%$T FOR BRAINS TO DAMAGE ONE THESE MONSTERS. But still MILLIONS got burnt up by the TECH (NOT) who were just going to top it off. Sounds familiar!!!!!. ( when something goes wrong look in the mirror, and there lies YOUR PROBLEM !!!! )
