Looking in side the oil refreactometer. Sorry I used my phone to take this photo but you get the idea. A dark fine line will move up or down on the numbers, it's fast and accurate. If you are a shop replacing a $1200 electric compressor or if you were the customer would you like to know if the last shop installed installed PAG oil, PAG oil just loves the electric insulation coating on motor windings. It will not do damage fast, it will be slow over a long period of time. Someone later will be paying the price for ignorance, stupidity or cheapness. Will it be the shop who frist installed the wrong oil or the shop who installed the new compressor and did not know there is PAG oil in the system or will it be the CUSTOMER. I wonder, hummmm the path of least Resistance, lets not make any waves and go with the flow. Think about it?
