I have a 2008 prius touring and was wondering about when I slow down to stop like around 15-3 miles an hour it sounds like it is wineing only when I apply the brakes. If I come to a stop without using the brakes there is no noise. I have done the right and left turn to see if it is the wheel bearings but that is quiet. Their is only 38,000 miles on the car can anyone tell me if this is a common noise?. I am new to the forum and have been looking to see if anyone else has this noise. I did ask my toyota dealership to check this and they told me that this is common. I don't want to get stuck in the near future having to pay for a electric motor problem or trans mission problem. Can someone help me out here this is my first Prius and I did by it used. Thank You
