RE: 2008 Prius shifts back to neutral & won't stay in drive/rev Hello. I wondered if you had any resolution for this issue. I was driving my girlfriend's 2008 Prius and experienced precisely the same problem. I was forced to hold the shifter in drive to get where I was going. But after I parked it and then got back in 1/2hr later, it was back to normal. I have not experienced it again since then, but I found the behavior rather disturbing and thought I should look into it.
