      We bought a 2009 Prius last week and, of course, the finance guy at the Toyota dealer wanted to know if we wanted to buy an extended warranty for $1200/$100 deductible or $1300/$0 deductible for 8 years/100K miles. Anyone out there with an older Prius with lots of miles think an extended warranty is worth it to cover that portion beyond the standard 36 months/36K miles?
