    Ran an automotive garage in Vernon BC for 40 years; we worked on everything but were known for being good with VW, European, and BMW motorcycles.
    I enjoy the old air-cooled VWs (and love the really old ones!) and know them well, but my huge enthusiasm is for the old airhead BMWs!! And riding them!! They are brilliant; aircraft quality with no compromise, and the dynamic of the design is magic.
    Retired now, and back to doing my own work. Puttering at home; gardening, building things, fixing things, getting workshop in order, cleaning up and trying to catch up after 40 years of neglect at home. And reading, riding, and rhythm. Singing. Chess. Friends.
