    PriusChat lurker from the early days but didn't get around to joining until 2011. Bought a new Prius Gen I in June 2002. I give credit to John's pioneering website for helping me during those early years since I didn't know anyone else who owned a Prius and it was so rare to even see another Prius on the road that we would all wave at each other when we drove past. Would have kept it longer but the infamous federal hybrid tax credit beckoned and I purchased a new Gen II in March 2006.
