      Sorry for the delay. I do not visit that often.
      We just left it there. Told them we would be researching finding a used battery and that we would get back to them. They called a day later offering to meet half way, we told them thanks we will keep looking. They called a day later saying they would fix.

      just read your information on the prius chat. My 2001 prius with 94,000 is needing a new battery -- however it is 3 weeks out of the warranty period. At least I think it is -- toyota corporate says 8 years/100,000 and it was put into service in August 16, 2000 and it first kicked out codes the first part of September -- so 3 weeks out of warranty -- can you please give me pointers on how you worked toyota down to zero for the battery with your car over 100,000? I could so use some help as I am a single mother of 4 and have only had the car for a year and sure don't want to come up with 3500 for a battery
