The Samsung SCH-u410 cellphone works fine. No connection problems at all. I keep it in the glovebox and only take it out for recharging. Handsfree is great!

    Hi!
    You can try this:

    - if you have Prius 2010 audio with navigation
    - clear Pairings from your Prius what you did before
    - if your friend has iPhone, let him pair iPhone to Prius using only bluetooth music player. (not handsfree)
    - after that, shutt iPhone bluetooth (but leave bluetooth audio pairing to prius)
    - pair your Nokia N95 to prius (like handsfree, not bluetooth audio)
    - start Prius and turn Prius off once
    - N95 stays connected (I hope) if you press manually "connect phone" and then select N95

Tell me if that helped... but every time, you start your Prius, you have to connect your phone manually.
Looks like that audio model has problems with symbian 60 based Nokia phones...

    Hi!
If your handsfree is ok, can you send all your contacts from E65 to Prius?
How about the bluetooth streaming in audio, does it work?

I'm happy with my Sprint Sanyo KatanaLX. Easy to transfer the phone book, reliably handshakes with the car, clarity is acceptable+.

The Samsung SCH-u430 for Verizon works well,
but it appears that a few contacts did not transfer to the Prius.
Almost all transfered OK, ... I wonder why.

I've been able to pair the Nokia E65 to make and receive calls. I'm able to transfer contacts - but only by sending them from the phone, not by the Toyota feature to pull them. I also can't seem to get audio streaming to work at all. I don't think the E65 has the right type of bluetooth connection to do that. (It is mono bluetooth.)

LG Voyager. Pairing was a tad odd, but not too difficult.

    Very similar problem here.

N95 8Gb, pairs fine, then stays connected for that ride, and that ride only.

    Automatic connection set on.

But on next ride: connects + disconnects immediately after.

    Is this fixable ?
Hate to have to go through the pairing every time I get into the car.

    Any help is Appreciated.

My Motorola Droid links perfect for phone audio, but multimedia will not link so far..... either I'm doing something wrong, or I don't have that feature on my early release GenIII, or my phone is not playing well.

There is supposed to be a firmware release for my phone Dec11.. hopefully that will fix it.

My Samsing T349 will not work. I want to purchase a HTC Touch Viva, but I am not sure it will work. I left my Priius manual at work. I believe it said you nee protocols HFP, OPP and PBAB. The Samsung has HFP and OPP and still will not pair up. I have seen here that the HTC Touch Pro2 and the Touch Diamond work. Does anyone know it the HTC Touch Viva will work? Thanks.

I am mainly using the Nokia and unfortunately the transfer of the phone numbers to the Prius address book does not work. I needed to insert a few by hand....

I have narrowed my choice in cell phones to a HTC Touch Viva or a Nokia 5530. Has anyone tried these phones in the Prius? The Toyota site is very incomplete. It shows mostly what will not work and very little of what will work. I read about the parameters that are required in the Pruis manual. My Samsung T349 had 3 of the protocols listed and still will not work. Maybe I will go to a cell phone store and have them come out to my car and try to pair it up. I am looking for an unlocked phone. Lots of possibilities on Amazon but I just don't know what will work.

Verizon Motorola Droid works with both BT Phone and Audio Streaming. Contacts do not transfer over properly but a workaround is using the Bluetooth File Transfer applet from the Android Marketplace to transfer a vCard *.vcf exported file.

The USB does not seem interface for Audio but does charge the phone.
