Searched this query but only found for Gen II, which was quite easy for that Gen.
How to do for Gen III remains a mystery. Anyone have experience with this without having to go to the dealer? Thx

    1.) turn car on
2.) set the Trip to ‘Trip Mode A’
    3.) turn the car off.
4.) press the MPH button on the dash, press the break pedal, press the start button.
5.) the car will start and a box will pop up claiming the oil warning is being reset. A progress bar will scroll across the screen.

Many thanks! But it is necessary to hold the MPH button down UNTIL the progress bar has been completed.

I just did it a couple of days ago. After the box pops up you can let go off the button.

I have 10,000 miles on my 3 month old Prius. My goal is 300,000 like my 2000 4runner

Does anybody know the procedure for the EU Prius variant? There is no MPH/kmh button. Instead of that, there is an electronic dash dimming button on the same place.
