    53 new photos are now available on my website.

    There's still some from last summer, way back when it was not well known whether or not you could carry large cargo on a solar equipped roof...

    Then we got a rare snow during peak colors, and I was armed with a digital camera...

    But then it turned to rain. Fortunately, I had an umbrella, lots of lense tissue for drying, and was now in a remote area with great photo backgrounds...

    Here is my new 2010 Prius IV solar. I had an excellent buying experience from Perry Motors in Bishop, CA. Yes, the radio telescope is a courtesy accessory for Caltechers ;).

    Just took delivery of a package III last week. Loving the car so far! I picked up a set of new Scion TC wheels and I'm totally loving the look.

    To me this car looks better than the Sandy Beach Prius which was at Prius Connection Detroit. Looks great actually!

    Good choice! I usually like the sandy beach better in this kind of low light conditions. Bright light brings out more of the yellow metallic bits, and the color of the light on it can result in anything from tan to yellow (see avatar). It's a nice gold without the yellow. Makes for an interesting chameleon effect though. FYI, the first 2 cars sold in Texas were Sandy Beach, and I've seen a couple of more, so you're not completely alone!

    I was at the dealer yesterday getting a couple things fixed that weren't working on the audio system and I saw another Sandy Beach V sitting in the back lot as I was leaving. It still had all the protective plastic on it from shipment. Bummed me out a tad as I was secretly hoping we'd end up with the only one in town, but I guess I'll have to meet up with whoever buys that one at some point down the road! No idea what package it had, but ours has the Nav pkg.
