Converting non-NAV to NAV

    Bought a 2006 Prius w/ a basic package. The viewscreen/computer doesn't do Navegation. Question: Can we do something to up-convert the computer/display into NAV capable or can we buy a replacement computer/display with NAV? Thanks for any advice.

    Check eBay, they have removed units for sale from time to time. Just make sure it has the DVD included. Just do a search for "Prius Navigation" in the search window, I just looked and found one for $600. Just be sure everything required is included in the sale, not just the screen itself.

    There's a lot more to it than just changing the MFD and adding the DVD player. You also have the antenna and controls. Get a Garmin!!! The mod you want to do in cost prohibitive.
