I have the Samsung Finesse R810. Sometimes I have to reset the phone for the bluetooth to work with the prius.

    Argh.

    LG VU CU 920

    Connected fine, handsfree use fine.
    Cannot transfer contacts. :(
Tried sending one by one via BT and while the phone says it sent it successfully, the Prius isn't buying it. Failed.

Doesnt the Prius use a standard bluetooth interface? Why are certain phones not compatible?

I also have the Blackberry 8330 and can't get the contact to transfer. Under Bluetooth theres a menu option "Transfer Address Book" which did not work but it worked in my wife's KIA. Any ideas?

Prius 2010/nav and Iphone 3GS. Having problems auto-syncing. It worked before when I first got the Prius in July, but eversince my trip to Japan, it doesn't auto sync anymore. In order for the phone to connect, I have to delete all phones, and restart from scratch. However, after that, anytime I turn off the car, I gotta go through the whole process of deleting the phone from the Navi, and my iphone, and then reconnect from scratch.

I wish you were closer, I'd help you. There's something wrong with the way you're pairing it or the way your phone is set up... might be the way the car's bluetooth menu is set up but bring that phone and the car to your dealership and let their bluetooth expert help you! That's a frustrating experience but it doesn't HAVE to continue being one.

Each phone and manufacturer are different, hence the incompatibility.

Toyota's site covers what they have tested that will work:
    Toyota Bluetooth Phone

It's not complete though because I have a Samsung Juke (Verizon) that also does fine with Bluetooth, transfers multiple contacts fine, and seemingly any other general feature.

I am due up for a phone upgrade though and I want to get a phone that I can stream Pandora to my Prius. I know that the iPhone does, but Verizon doesn't have that one. Has anyone else had luck listening to Pandora??

The Droid on Verizon streams Pandora, Playlists and Last.Fm. I suspect the Eris will also since its an Android phone but it runs a different version. The info does not show on the Nav screen only the track up and down buttons work.

As of yet I haven't been able to get the 2010 prius to sync the audio to the phone.
What sequence did you use to get your Droid to connect audio.. do you remember?

I'm waiting for a firmware update and hope that fixes things since its already an issue with contacts not transferring without special tools.

I connect the Phone then Audio and it should be paired that way but it is quirky and doesn't always connect immediately. Contacts do transfer finally by using Bluetooth File Transfer and a vCard file.

Steps to transfer contacts from the Droid

    1) Pair and Connect phone
    2) Manage Contacts
    3) Transfer Contacts <- Must initialize the Phonebook
    - On the phone a notifcation to allow for PBAP in the Notification Bar
    4) Add Contacts
    5) On the phone Select the Contacts vCard File
    6) Click Menu and Send File

(Thank You!) I am thinking of getting an HTC Touch Pro1 (Credo Mobile does not offer the Touch Pro 2)...any idea whether the blue tooth connectivity is the same.

Also, what is a microsd card?

    Thank you...Jordan (2010 Prius)

Steps to transfer contacts from the Droid

    1) Pair and Connect phone
    2) Manage Contacts
    3) Transfer Contacts <- Must initialize the Phonebook What do you mean.... open the contacts on the Droid?... all I see is the window on the Prius saying "transferring contacts" and nothing ever happens on the droid or the Prius?
    - On the phone a notification to allow for PBAP in the Notification Bar
Never saw that notification....how do you access that option?
Im running firmware 2.01 on the Droid.
    4) Add Contacts - Never get to see that happen or that option
    5) On the phone Select the Contacts vCard File - Never get to see that either....... is this a vcard file you exported and saved already?
    6) Click Menu and Send File
