Or you're in the middle of a heat wave and need A/C so EV Drive Mode disengages anyway.

I was using EV a few weeks ago, with speeds up to 40+ kms/hr but now it is down to less than 17 km/per hr. so I am learning that it is the colder weather that the computer doesnt like. use to be able to meandr up our long lane in EV but no longer. oh well, summer will eventually return to Ontario.

4th day in my new ride and had a few 'EV mode currently unavailable...' and noticed that it really only happens when I first start the car, perhaps the car/battery has to be 'warmed' up, and its not like is cold where I live. Low 40's to 70's so who knows, but I have taken it in EV mode up to 22mph and EV was still engaged... Love using EV in my gated community and in parking lots.

A bit OT, but I must be the biggest moron, because I JUST discovered the 'Normal' driving mode today. This whole time I thought ECO was the Normal mode since the car has been engaged in ECO the past few days. I was thinking to myself, good lord, this car is pretty slow in the 'normal/eco' mode... sigh. Just glad to know that there is something in between PWR and ECO.
