HID headlight bulbs

    Can I use HID headlight bulbs in my '05 Prius or will I damage the electrical system?

    Did your car come equipped with HID headlights? If not then no, you can't use HID bulbs in a halogen system and without a ballast.

    If you meant to say can I install an HID headlight kit that comes complete with bulbs, harness, ballasts etc. then yes, you can do that and should not experience any problems if wired correctly.
