I've seen at least two on the freeway (cars with chrome, not just the wheels). When I was shopping for my car, Hamer Toyota in Granada Hills had one with chromes. Maybe they can help you. Or ask any tire or custom wheel shop. I think they're done on an exchange basis.

chrome is heavy, I don't know if you'll want that. Also it won't look right on a prius. Chrome is so early 80s and before. I say get some gunmetal gray wheels.

My dealer 'stuck' me with chrome OEM wheels  and wouldn't swap them out. While they don't look 'bad' on a white car (kind of matches the lights), I would much prefer powder coating. Anyone in the LA area have a clue where to get this done (with little to no downtime)?

Dude...trade with KWood...easier to powder the stockers than chrome...you're both in L.A too...meant to be...NO downtime either...

If you don't want to chrome them you can actually polish them since they are aluminum. There was a company in the O.C. that did it. Just to a search for aluminum polishing.

I **almost** got stuck with chromed OEM wheels like XEN - but when I saw them on the vehicle, and I saw the $600 charge on the invoice - I told them to take them off, since the week before, when I took a test drive - there were no chromed wheels.

On a silver car - chrome looks quite stupid. But - they would look good on a black car, or any other color that would contrast against "silver".

Xen's dealer is a thief, I hate dealers like that.

My Prius is a 2009, in silver. Bought in April 2009.....

    I think they're actually painted.
