Our budget is $13,000 plus $2000 cash and whatever hutspuh we can garner. #1 07 Prius touring $14,900 with 45,000 mi.#2 is certified 07 from toyota dealer with 81,000 miles with at least package # 4, fog lights and navigation for $13,950. Our 227,00 mi Mitsu Eclipse died and we loved that car but we really want a Prius. My wife doesn't mind basic but I want a few extras.
#2 you will only have less then 20k mi left on the warranty. I would go with #1 but make dealer throw in the Toyota used car warranty that will protect you till you get to 100k mi. Make sure the hybrid things are covered also.
