Do the Gen II and Gen III share the same wheel/rim fitment?

Never mind -- I was able to find the answer.

It's be great if you could post the results you found -- that'll short-cut others of us having to dig up the same information. Thanks, Rick

yes, I'm curious if the 2010 17" wheels will fit the Gen II
(not that there's any of the 17's available anyway :()

Here's what I found. I went to TireRack.com and entered the following 3 cars:

    2008 Toyota Prius
    2010 Toyota Prius II
    2010 Toyota Prius V

The same set of wheels came up for the 2008 Prius and the 2010 Prius II. When I selected the 2010 Prius V, fewer wheel selections came up. So, either a subset of wheels that fit on the 2008/2010 Prius II fit on the 2010 Prius V, or a cross-section. Apparently, what fits on the 2008 will fit on the 2010 Prius II (and vice versa).

The bolt pattern for all 3 is the same: 5-100
The Offset range for all 3 appears to be the same.
The Backspacing for the 2008/2010 Prius II appears to have a lower range, but that range intersects with that of the 2010 Prius V.

I hope I have this correct, but if there's any question about a particular rim, better to verify with the store if it will fit.
