Does anybody know if Toyota will reprogram the "oil maintenance required" warning to 10,000 miles instead of 5,000 Miles when you reset it? (Since the official requirement is now every 10,000 miles)
Or is there a way of changing from 5,000 to 10.000 miles ourselves
    Thanks

Doubt it as they still expect you to come in every 5,000 miles for rotating the tires and visually inspecting the brake system. I've already had my first oil change at 5,000 miles so I plan to take it in at 15,000 miles and 10k thereafter. I've always rotated the tires every 10k miles on all my cars, and plan to do my own cabin and engine air filters (and avoid the pricey 30k service "specials").
