    NO WAY!
    I don't believe you!!
You can't possibly be "sooooo soo happy" yet!

    It's not Wednesday!
Where is the angst of the wait?
    The sleepless nights?
    The fidgeting and general restlessness?
The overriding worry in the back of your mind about the status of “your†Prius . . . the one that you don’t yet have in your grasp . . . “are they taking care of my baby . . . will it arrive without a ding or a scratch . . . will it . . . I hope it . . . it better not! . . . aaaarrrrrgggghhhhh!â€

If you are normally a sooooo soo happy person, HOW CAN YOU REMAIN SO CALM!!!!

Wow Renegs., that is what my son has, he should get a Prius too. I had a Ford Explorer, and got the silver mil. one like yours. You ought to be getting some real good gas savings.. Guess what I am learning how to drive this thing. Started out at 40 mpg and with some tricks on the gas pedal I am eeking out 43-44 MPG. Got a bunch of short trips in the hot TX summer, I accelerate quick, ease off gas VERY slightly, tap the brake to trigger the engine to stop, and run electric, or charge or coast, I will gently try and keep up speed (25-40), this seems to work. I have also when SAFE, used the cruise control (30-40 MPH), and the cruise sometimes will do better then me. After awhile the MPG gets better then 40. I also will try and live without the AC at evening/night or early mornings if it is cool.

Maggieddd-congrats, had to wait over 60 days, now the dealer has one just sitting waiting for a lost soul....PS anybody want one, this one is pretty it is Sea Pearl (the blue), tan inside and with SKS and cheap (@ $23,905 MSRP) dealer is advertising employee pricing on Toyota's too..so you might get the car cheaper. E-mail if you want this one....It is still there for the taking. [email protected]

well I had two of them. One is the one in my sig, thats my weekend toy :D The other one was completely stock and my daily driver. I frequently averaged 20+mpg but I still had to use premium in it.

Now I get twice the mpg and use 87 octane. I of course still love taking the T/A out on the weekends. Cant keep the beast contained for too long. [IMG]

My son would be a good date if you're single and young, don't take offense. Muscle cars and what makes them tick and need for speed is in his blood! He was a mustang fanatic until he found this one, and he likes it better.

I got the silver one with BC package. I saw it on the lot already. It was delivered on Saturday, I just couldn't take it yesterday because of all the paper work. I didn't sign up for one. I just decided to call around, see what's on the lots and get one I like. I was originally looking for the Tideland Pearl, but that's like looking for a needle in a haystack. Out of those that were available I liked the silver one the most. And I think I prefer the gray interior as the dirt won't be as visible as on the beige one.
AND I DIDN'T SLEEP all night!
Don't know if it was the excitement of having a Prius or having a loan :) I just never had debt and any loan. Today all I am thinking about is the PRIUS that is coming home tomorrow.
Do you think silver is nice, I keep looking at the Tideland Pearl that is parked at the parking lot at work and now I am regretting it. I am just so indecisive person.

Like Deja Vu, I waited 2 months and was told "Prius trafic" was so tight that I needed to grab whatever came in. So I grabbed a siver one with grey interior, and the B1 package. It did not have SKS which was one option I really wanted. 2 week later a tideland pearl (tan interior) with SKS is just sitting there! I have no regrets, silver is pretty, and also very easy to keep clean. BC and B1 must be close in package, I paid $24,015, the pearl one is $23,905, only difference is the pearl has SKS but not the 6 CD changer option. If I had, had a choice I would have taken the pearl, despite the TAN interior, I really preferred the GRAY interior. But don't look back, just look forward to the great experience you will have with the use of this car.

    Maggieddd,
Put your location in your profile (semi-required) it helps us answer questions . . . like should you wait for a Tideland Pearl. Depending on location, maybe yes, maybe no. Either way it is not too late! Don’t let the sales people push you around . . . just because that car was on the lot.

After six months of waiting, we passed up a Silver and waited an extra two weeks for a Salsa . . . and whoever got that Silver one is probably bragging how they got their car early and it’s just the color they wanted.

Go for the color you want! You haven’t driven it off the lot . . . it’s still their car.
I’m sure a cute little pout :( and glassy eyes  will melt the salespeople into submission.
If not, shift into bad girl mode  and demand your Tideland Pearl or else you are going to a dealer who has one to sell you.
