If I exit by the driver's door, open the rear hatch to get something out of the trunk, and then lock the rear hatch, will all the doors lock, or do I also have to lock all the side doors with either the remote or the driver or passenger door handle?

how are you locking the rear hatch? Do you have a button on the hatch or something?

It locks all doors. True only for the high end models with 3 door locks. My 2010 II only locks/unlocks from the driver door.

I have a 2017 Prius 4. Is it possible to open the hatch from inside the car? Is there a way to prevent all the doors from unlocking when I open the hatch?

There's an emergency release to open the hatch from inside the car in case the 12V battery is dead but there isn't a release like a sedan's trunk.

Yes. You can set SKS to only open the door that you accessed. So, that means if you open the hatch, only the hatch will unlock. If you pull the driver's door, only the driver's door will unlock. If you pull the front passenger's door, only the front passenger door will unlock.

It's mentioned in the manual somewhere on how to change the SKS behaviour. (I can't remember the combination of buttons you have to press on the remote to do so, so please refer your owner's manual).
