    Hi

I just got the IV Blizzard. It's a 36 month lease.

I am not touching the shocks and springs but may want to add 17" rims--gun metal or black.

Has anyone added rims on a lease? I assume it's ok, just keep the stock wheels in storage until time to return the lease.

Second question: since i'm not lowering my prius, how will 17's look? Is it even worth it? WIll it look dumb with that wheel well gap?

    thanks

It should be fine with the lease. Lot's of pics are up with 17's. Just search through such threads. I have no problem with the gap personally.

What's a good wheel weight....should the cut off point be 20lbs?

Alot of answers can be found using the search function. Especially in the GenII forum. :)

I turned in one of my Grand Am lease cars with aftermarket wheels (they weren't worth swapping out) and they never noticed. As you said, keep the stockers and put them back on.

    thanks guys

I'm being really careful in choosing my wheel setup.....I think I finally found a set I want--a light set of black rims to go with my Blizzard IV solar package.

    I'll post pics.

Yea I wouldn't want to go above 19/20 lbs per wheel.

Monroe "Sensa-Trac" Quick struts worked for me,front and rear. They come with new springs, isolaters and bushings completely assembled ready to bolt up.Your car is only 3 yrs old,I believe the EX model comes with a more performance orientated suspension than the LX or DX.The Goodyear "Assurance"is a premium top-of-the-line tire. You may want to check into Michelin "Pilot"series tires. After a Web search at NAPA,Rockauto and Monroe I was not able to find "Quickstruts" for your vehicle.

Must have been a Worm Hole opened in the fabric of space-time and a post meant for a Honda board landed on ours. :alien: :scared:

Or I'm at a loss to figure out how this is On Topic...
