I wish I hadn't left my car out in the crowded parking lot one night when some jerk decided to open his door too wide and whack my car door... :(

It helps if you shut the lawnmower off before putting it in the car.

Haven't done a whole lot, wish I had not gone to Walmart with the Prius, despite parking MILES away from anything, got I think cart scratches on the rear bumper...don't know how else they could have gotten there!!

The foot up thing is only on long boring freeway stretches. In previos cars, it was not on the dash, but resting on the face of it, but the sloped Prius dash is quite comfy if you are not tall (5'10) and you recline the seat a bit. Otherwise, my bony cheeks tend to fall asleep if I sit normally for an extended period of time. No dates, as I'm married (and usually she drives when were both in the car).

I also wish we had not started the "meseeus a Prius" game. (a new version of slug bug). She's too observant and I'm usually focused elsewhere, so she's always quick with a smack to the arm.

I actually wore high heels today, and it did help (but not enough to make me want to wear heels all the time)! :D I also tried the left foot on the dash just to see how it felt in the Prius, and it was nice and comfy. But the potential for airbag deployment freaks me out.

And Darwood, I think I like the "messeus a Prius" idea!

yeah, no one wants the airbag to deploy in their crotch, that'd be unfortunate.

That's only because you are far enough away that you will not get hit.

If you haven't already, check e-bay every few days. A few weeks ago, someone had a center console up.

I wish I had never let my dad ride with me. The first time he did, a week after I got it, he sat in back. We went to Wal-Mart, I parked (next to the cart corral, as it was a crowded lot and I read that's actually one of the safest places to miss a cart hitting you), and my mom said "Open the door carefully." He proceeds to swing it open right into the cart thing, nicking the paint a little. When I got annoyed, he informed me it was MY fault.

But then today, sitting on the SAME side of the car, he did worse. We were planning on seeing a movie, but he whined that he was "too tired" (why he came, I do not know) and forced me to take him to the bookstore. I parked in front to let him out, and he proceeded to gather all his little toys up, which took maybe 20 seconds. In the meantime, I guess the driver behind me figured no one was getting out. She went to pull around me, my dad opened his door WITHOUT looking, and hit her SUV. Now she has a dent and the edges of my door frame are twisted outward like tinfoil.

I don't know how much it will be to fix yet. My deductible is $1000, so we are going to try to do it without involving insurance (the other driver prefers it this way). On the plus side, my dad is obviously paying, because it was his fault we were A) there at all, and B) that he opened without looking. I think he and the other driver may split the total repair bill for both vehicles, but I do not know yet.

So, I wish he had just stayed home. Moron.

Oh, and this one was my fault too, because I went into the bookstore lot from a different angle than he would have, and he was "disoriented." Dumbass.

I wish that I didn't cut the wheel too sharply in my driveway and scrape the paint off of my front bumper with our cement retaining wall.

Wish I had seen the moron/coward that smashed my rear bumper this morning, good sized parking lot with 3 cars in it. Come out to my rear bumper pushed in.

I guess I was lucky, I was able to push the dent mostly out (only a small flat spot remains) of the plastic bumper and there were no scratches but I would really like give that person a piece of my mind.

And I would like to know how in the --expletive here-- they managed to hit my car.

I reget treating my fabric upholstery with a silicon spray [ScotchGuard]. It atacked the plastic moulding above the arm rests on the doors and left a permanent stain.

I wish I hadn't climbed on my roof to avoid stepping in a deep puddle of water to get in the driver's side door. I left two dents on the roof, probably from my knees. I haven't tried the dry ice trick that was suggested on the other thread. And if that doesn't work, there's always the dent puller.
