Affordable Custom Sub

    I had a Pioneer 400 Watt 10in. sub installed in the rear passenger cubby. This is only a faceplate not a custom fiberglass box. Also had a 250 Watt MTX amp installed under the removable floorboard in the tray. When the amp was installed he left two feet of extra wire so I could remove the tray so I could get to my spare tire if needed. The sound is a comprable to a sealed fiberglass box. And, the total cost of product and installation was only $300 compared to the $1000 or more I have seen posted. I have attached pics.

    Looks cool. I'd love to hear more details about how you sealed the area behind it up (or didn't). Generally the issue with this kind of approach is that you can't get a real sealed airspace behind it, but it's possible that you don't really need one if the driver is designed for infinite baffle setups.

    I didn't seal it the face is just a very tight seal to the body.. I sounds great, I have no complaints!
