When Delivered to You How Many Miles on the Prius ?

    My 'New' Prius was "USED", in that it had been driven 166 miles Before the car was sold to me, who is supposed to be the cars first owner. In reality the car is 'Transported' by some Minimum Wage Transport Driver, who essentially is 'Breaking-In' my New Prius before I ever even see it.

    So let's hear from the rst of you, How Many Miles was on your New Prius when you took delivery.

    Incidentally, back in April 2007 when I took delivery of my first 'New-Used' Prius it came with even higher mileage, 188 !:eek:

    So how many miles was your new Prius driven on Salt Covered roads at 80 MPH by the 'transporter' before you got to pay for it ? :mad:

    I picked up my Prius on 2.20.2010 and it had 3 miles on it. After I test drove it to make sure everything was good to go, it had 9 miles and that is what/s stated on the documents.

    Mine had 6 miles on it according to the paperwork. Pretty cool to watch the zero's to the left disappear....

    191 miles. I bought it in Braintree, MA, and it was originally sold to a Toyota dealer in New Hampshire, it was most likely a dealer "swap" so someone drove it down from NH, and then it had various test drives on it, I'm sure. There are not a whole lot of model V's with the ATP, and I'm sure that contributed to the high mileage...

    210 before my wife and I took a 10 mile test drive.
    I think it went Ft. Smith-Pine Bluff-Conway, Ark before finding its buyer.
    Because I got to see it and drive it before I signed the papers, I don't think they tried to fool me.

    If you check that older thread, you will see a few higher numbers.

    I seem to remember long ago that numbers in the double digits were common--I assumed that the manufacturers drove the cars a bit to make sure they worked right.

    But now, something like 2 miles is very common.

    We drove off the lot with 41 miles on the odometer. About 4 of those miles should be attributed to our own test drive.

    11 for the car before that - I test drove it with white plastic on the hood and bags on the seats.

    Special ordered mine, took 6 months to come in and it had 2 miles on it when i took delivery.
