Does anyone know what the botton is for?
You can push it up and it springs right back.

If it is the button just below and to the right of the steering column under the dash, it is the tire pressure monitor reset button.

If you change the pressure in your tires, you will need to read the manual and press this button to reset the tire pressure alarm setting.

From what I understand, if your tire pressure drops about 8 psi below the alarm setting, the tire pressure alarm will display on your dash.

There were two buttons under the steering wheel. The left one is a momentary push that you hold down when you need to reset the tire pressure alarm. The right one is now an empty hole where prior to 2010 was located the SKS on/off button. The SKS now disables itself after around 24 hours I believe so Toyota deemed it no longer needed--unless you are paranoid of EMI with pacemakers in which case you just wish Toyota had left the damn switch in place.

On the Aussie version there is also a button under there that allows you to turn of the collision avoidance braking so you just get the warnings and seat belt tightening reaction. No other buttons that I could find.

You didn't see the buttom that dispenses a cold can of "Fosters"..
I had heard it was a Aussie only option, It's part of the AC system, it only consumes a litte more power than AC alone.
I did try to purchase the extra pieces needed to try to do a aftermarket install on it!!! Sadly no joy
    :D

Your humour is so good but wasted on me as I usually only drink unwooded chardonnay or basket pressed merlot while riding my kangaroo down the bush track we live on taking potshots as koalas and aborigines with my ex British Army Lee Enfield.
