I have 2005 prius. I purchased this few months before and drove inside city till date. One day I drove it on high way and realized that if I start increasing speed, noise inside the car is also getting increased. I am unable to figure it out whether this noise is of wind or engine, though I am assuming it is of wind since at low speeds say till 40mph, there is no noise. As soon as I speed up ahead of 40mph , noise increases. After 60mph I have to keep audio volume to MAX then only I can hear the audio.
How should I prevent the wind noise inside prius ? is this common in every prius or only in my prius?

Welcome. No wind noise nor engine noise in my Gen2. When the tires were new they wailed like banshees when driving on concrete.

Ohhh yeah , after purchasing this used car , I replaced all 4 tires with new ones. Till date I drove only 500 miles with new tires, could be this is the reason behind noise.

Yes, new tires can be especially noisy. Different kinds of tires are noisier than others. You will have to look for reviews of tires for specific advice.

Operate each window switch to be certain that each window is completely closed.

Also, look on the underside of the outside mirrors on the doors. There should be clear tape covering the screw holes. If the holes are open they can whistle at speed. If yours are open try covering them with tape.
